Following this, I didn't swear off men. It would have been the best thing to do considering that I was an emotional wreck.
But I didn't. That doesn't mean I actively went out looking to meet someone. But I did. Meet someone. And it looks as though getting attached to people and wearing my heart on my sleeve is more of a hindrance and a problem than anything else.

Hmmmm ... as much "getting attached to people and wearing my heart on my sleeve" creates problems and leads to heartache at times, isn't it better than not feeling at all and being distant from everything and everyone?
Hugs ...
You found yourself a rebound guy? w00t!!! You lucky thing...I usually have to mope around until I convince myself that I'm gonna die alone, leaving behind my growing collection of soft toys and my many dogs (I'm not a cat person).
:D
Take each day as it comes. Don't judge or berate yourself for feeling the way you do about the people you meet. I think there's some cheesy analogy about muscles having to be torn apart in order to get stronger, but I wouldn't dwell on it (or anything, for that matter) too much, if I were you :-)
Hugs Scrumpy.
Make the most of it sweetie.... whoever he is, and whatever you are going through, I think he's a real lucky guy!
